A simple Windows based EigerDB binary, hexadecimal and decimal converter, and calculator especially developed for beginners.

 

It enables selection among 6 different languages (English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Polish languages). It supports 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

 

Almost all operations can be performed with a mouse click, the keyboard is used for entering text. The most common work with bits, bytes, words requires selecting single or multiple bits. With a mouse click the user can select individual bit. With holding the left mouse button and dragging the mouse over the bits multiple bits can be selected at once. To deselect multiple bits the user must hold down the CTRL key, hold down the right mouse button and drag mouse over the bits. In the same time when the bits are selected the hexadecimal and decimal value is automatically displayed.

 

Very common operation over bits is shift left and right. The presented software enables shifting the bits in both direction for selected number of bits.

The user can enter also hexadecimal and decimal value. At the same time also the binary value is synchronized.

The current decimal value can be stored as a value A and B enabling the user to perform several operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, bit-wise AND, OR and XOR operations.
